Payments and transaction support
Guides are sold through Link. Sold through Link, LLC is the merchant of record for the transaction. Talvia provides the guide and handles its content and delivery.
Link payment and refund support · Link purchase terms
Your purchase is the one English-language PDF guide identified on the product page and at checkout. Each guide has its own displayed price, including any applicable sales taxes. The final amount and currency are shown before payment. If checkout offers an optional local-currency price, review that amount and exchange rate before choosing it. This is a one-time purchase with no subscription. Read the product description and preview before ordering. You need a device and software capable of opening PDF files and an internet connection to download the guide. The guide is for your personal use; please do not redistribute or resell it. Personal planning services, including Lapland Plan Review, are separate assignments and are not sold under these digital-guide terms.
Your purchase is sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments. Sold through Link, LLC acts as merchant of record for the transaction and handles applicable transaction taxes in supported markets. Talvia Private Journeys supplies the guide and remains responsible for its content, quality and delivery. Link’s purchase and refund terms also apply: https://link.com/terms and https://support.link.com/questions/sold-through-link-refunds. Any more favourable rights under those terms and mandatory law remain available. Your payment statement may show LINK.COM followed by the business name. Link sends the payment receipt; Talvia sends your guide delivery confirmation.
After a successful payment, your personal order page provides a download and we send a confirmation with a personal link to the email address you provide at checkout. Bank or other delayed payments must clear first. Keep the confirmation and do not share your private link. The link is valid for 30 days after confirmed payment. You can keep the downloaded PDF. If the link expires or an email is missing, contact tuomas@talviaprivatejourneys.com with your order reference to request access again. Link expiry does not limit your statutory rights.
Before paying, you expressly request immediate delivery. Your delivery confirmation includes your request and these terms. This does not waive any cooling-off right granted by Link or mandatory consumer law. Under the Sold through Link terms, EU and UK consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period starting when they receive access to or delivery of the product. Contact Link support at https://support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link and state “cooling off period” as the reason. You can also send Talvia a clear withdrawal or refund request at tuomas@talviaprivatejourneys.com or through the help form on your order page; we will acknowledge it and help resolve it with Link. Include your order reference, name and email. A model notice is: “I withdraw from my purchase of [guide], ordered on [date], order reference [reference], name [name], postal address [address], email [email], date [date], signature [only if sent on paper].” Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, reimbursement is due within the applicable legal period, normally 14 days after notice, by the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without a refund fee. Link handles transaction-level refund requests under its refund policy; it may grant refunds beyond Talvia’s policy. Downloading the guide does not prevent you from submitting a request. Your rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or undelivered content remain intact.
The guide is independent travel information, not a booking or a personalised itinerary. Accommodation, activities, transport, reservations, on-trip support and on-site coordination are not included. You check current availability, prices, weather and provider terms, then book and pay providers directly. Examples and travel times are estimates; natural conditions and Northern Lights cannot be guaranteed. The purchase supplies the stated edition; continuing updates are not promised. We will address errors and statutory conformity obligations.
If something is wrong, contact us so we can resolve it, including supplying corrected or missing content and any remedy required by applicable consumer law. You may seek assistance from your local consumer adviser or, where applicable, the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi). Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain applicable.
We process order, contact and payment-reference information to fulfil the purchase, provide support and meet accounting obligations. Stripe and Link process the payment and associated tax, fraud-prevention and transaction-support information under their privacy terms (https://link.com/privacy). Talvia does not store card details.
